To address the need for career development and clarity about career paths and processes in our scientific areas, a new office has been created, the Career Pathways office, in the Lab Directorate. Initially, the existing Postdoc Scholars Program and Early Career Enrichment Program will be brought together into the Pathways office. In later phases, the office will support scientist and engineer hires, promotions, and faculty appointments and may provide onboarding and professional development assistance. The office reports to Bill Johansen in the Office of the Deputy Lab Director for Research. The staff contact for Pathways is Meg Rodriguez, who has been managing the Lab’s postdoc program.
