The Call for Proposals for the FY2022 Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) Program is out! The LDRD program is one of the principal means to seed innovative science and new research directions at Berkeley Lab.
An important factor in judging proposals will be their support of competencies aligned with the Laboratory and DOE’s strategies. Multi-investigator and multi-divisional initiatives are particularly encouraged.
For the FY2022 cycle, the Lab will be returning to three funding tracks: Early Career Development, Area Initiative, and Lab-wide Initiative proposals. Specific topics or areas of interest for each of the each of the three tracks are outlined in the FY22 LDRD Call for Proposals document.
