Royalty Funding can be spent by the Laboratory for research, development, technology transfer, education at the Laboratory, consistent with the research and development mission and objectives of Berkeley Lab. The Office of the Deputy Labpratory Director oversees the distribution of these funds. Requests for approval for these activities are made by Area and divisional staff coordinate to Directorate Staff.
